Real Estate Brokerage

Description

This course reviews the legislation affecting a real estate brokerage with emphasis on the responsibility, liability and accountability of real estate industry members according to the Real Estate Act, Rules, Bylaws and Schedules, and Regulations. The overall purpose of this course is to help prospective brokers understand the full scope of their responsibilities within the real estate industry. This is one of the five core courses of the Brokers Program.
Courses are available either by distance delivery or in a classroom.

Requirements


If you would like to take the program by distance delivery, you are required to complete and achieve a minimum of 70% on the assignment (one assignment for this course) and exam before writing the Provincial Qualifying Exam (PQE).

If you would like to take the program in a classroom, you are required to complete and achieve a minimum of 70% on the course exam and 75% attendance before writing the PQE.
