Who makes up the AREA Board of Directors?

The 15 board members ensure that their region of the province is well represented at the provincial table. The Board comprises REALTOR® representatives from each member board, with 1 Director from each small board and 3 Directors each from Edmonton and Calgary.

The Alberta Real Estate Association’s (AREA) Board of Directors makes a valuable contribution to the Alberta real estate industry, contributing their knowledge and expertise to setting organizational policy, overseeing and approving programs and budgets, and strategic planning.

The Board also maintains four standing committees, with ad hoc task forces struck as necessary:
